I have had one out in tree before "Gus" and no worries as he is just going to
hang out. Nobody to fly with and all are in aviaries so why would he take off?
But now I have two out. I looked for them and called and whistled. Gus!!!
Gilly!!! I don't see them in a yard full of trees. Then I look up in the tree
next to the aviary and there they are :).
I always have almonds on me! Good thing! I pulled out my camera and took a
picture and some video and you get to see. What you don't see is Gilly got on
my hand and I am taking him to aviary and Gus flew on my right shoulder to go
with me and his brother. I had no worries about catching them.
But, while they were out there I did get scared they could be attacked by a
local coopers hawk. Lately, there has been a pair of hanging around. It didn't
happen and all is good! They are safe in the aviaries now.
